Bibi Flores multidisciplinary artist working separated in Fine Arts based in NYC.
Founder of Geometix Surfaces Studios for separated projects related to Design keeping her own essence.
Geometix word was chosen by the founder as is inspired name in connection Geometry, related to the connections you see in nature, and objects connected to Sacred Geometry, and everything that exists around us.
Flores's love for design, and art, lead her to express herself differently in design, as in her art creating patterns specifically for textiles since around 2005.
She started to include some of her made patterns printed in textiles, with specific patters from some art installations in 2009 and 2010, and 2011, as continue using textiles in some installations.
At that time Flores received comments about textiles used on installations, and that's how she decided and started this project separated from her art practice, focus in other type of her creative works in textiles or surfaces separated from her art
Bibi always believe that energy exist in everything, and it's all around us, and also in things, and spaces we live in, so she designs inspired on that connection as also geometry, shapes in her Designs,
From geometry, painterly, florals, cartoony, and other type of designs, all of those relating to this energy, helping in the case of the design to create beauty around us, as this energy help us to improve our daily lives.
Artist create patterns where she add joy energies, and love for your surroundings, and believes that designs also add good vibes to your space as for your overall well-being.
Bibi Flores carries a BA of International Marketing from a renowned Mexican private university, UDEM. Which studies focus on analytics, analyze, planning and best management of strategies, and campaigns for your clients for your branding. Flores also have other studies of fine arts, and graphic design in USA and Mexico. She carries a MFA in Fine Arts from School of Visual Arts from New York City. Flores also does Energy Healings, and is a Reiki Master.
